भारत के सरहदी शहर फाजिल्का और पाकिस्तान के पाकपटन की मशहूर मिठाई है तोशा

आप भारत के सरहदी शहर फाजिल्का में हो या फिर पाकिस्तान के पाकपटन शहर में। अगर आपने वहां से मिठाई खरीदनी हो तो वहां किसी से भी पूछ लें . . . यहां प्रसिद्ध मिठाई कौन सी है . . . हरेक का जवाब हो . . . तोशा . . . जी हां . . . यह मिठाई का नाम है और तोशा का मतलब है सुख, शांति व संतोष . . .सुनहरी भूरे रंग की मिठाई . . . एक परंपरागत पंजाबी मिठाई . . . वैसे मूल रूप से यह मिठाई फाजिल्का की नहीं है. . . पाकिस्तान के शहर पाकपटन से आई है . . . वो भी भारत विभाजन के दो साल बाद. . . जल्दी ही इसकी मिठास देश भर में प्रसिद्ध हो गई . . . यह ही एकमात्र ऐसी मिठाई है, जिसे पांच दिन तक सही सलामत रखा जा सकता है. . . अगर टूर पर जाना हो या किसी अन्य राज्य में जाना हो। लोग तोशा ले जाना नहीं भूलते। लोग इसे दिल्ली, मुंबई, गोआ, बंगलोर आदि राज्यों में इसे यादगार तोहफे के रूप में लेकर जाते हैं तो फाजिल्का आने वाले व्यक्ति भी इसे साथ ले जाना नहीं भूलते। पाकिस्तान में बने तोशे में खोया और पनीर प्रयोग नहीं किया जाता। मगर फाजिल्का में कॉटेज चीज प्रयोग किया जाता है। इससे तोशा स्वादिष्ट तैयार होता है और तोशे की कोमलता में भी इजाफा होता है। कई तरह की चूरन के युनिटो से तैयार तोशा वास्तव में ही पंजाब की असली स्वादिष्ट मिठाई है।
