क्यों पड़ा सादकी व सुलेमानकी पोस्ट का नाम ?

इंडिया में नाम…सादकी पोस्ट…पाकिस्तान में नाम …सुलेमानकी पोस्ट…बीच में सरहद…भारतीय समय शाम के साढ़े पांच बजे…एक कदम की दूरी पर स्थित पाकिस्तान में समय का आधा घंटा अंतर…यानि पांच बजे…जब दोनों देशों के बीच रिट्रीट सैरेमनी होती है तो लोगों में जोश भर आता है…देश भक्ति के नारे गूंजते हैं…रिट्रीट सैरेमनी के बारे में किसी अन्य ब्लॉग में लिखेंगे…आज बताते हैं भारत की सादकी पोस्ट व पाकिस्तान की सुलेमानकी पोस्ट के बारे में…इनका नाम सादकी और सुलेमानकी क्यों पड़ा…?

सादकी पोस्ट

सादकी पोस्ट का नाम सादकी नहर के नाम पर रखा गया…फाजिल्का और बहावलपुर रियासत की भूमि को सिंचाई के लिए पानी की भारी किल्लत थी…उसे पूरा करने के लिए ब्रिटिश साम्राज्य के सिंचाई विभाग की ओर से 19वीं सदी के पहले बीस वर्षों में नहरें बनाने का कार्यक्रम शुरू किया गया…इलाके में सबसे पहले सादकी नहर खोदने का कार्य शुरू किया गया…यह कार्य 1882 में पूरा कर लिया गया।

सुलेमानकी पोस्ट

पाकिस्तान में सुलेमानकी हैडवर्कस है…जिसका उपयोग सिंचाई व बाढ़ नियत्रंण के लिए किया जाता है…बहावलपुर के नवाब अमीर सादिक मोहम्मद खान (V) और ब्रिटिश सरकार के कहने पर 1922-1927 के बीच इस परियोजना को मुकम्मल किया गया…सुलेमानकी हैडवर्कस के दाहिने किनारे ब्रिटिश पंजाब में 1925 में पाकपट्टन नहर का निर्माण किया गया…जबकि बाई तरफ सादकी नहर है…बस इन्ही सादकी व सुलेमानकी के नाम पर ही दोनों देशों में पोस्टें हैं…सादकी पोस्ट पर सीमा सुरक्षा बल के जवान और सुलेमानकी पोस्ट पर पाक रेंजर्स रिट्रीट सैरेमनी करते हैं।(Lachhman Dost Whats App 99140-63937)

Why was the name of Sadqi and Sulemanki post ?

Name in India… Sadqi Post… Name in Pakistan… Sulemanki Post… Retreat ceremony held here like wagha of Amritsar and Husainiwala of Ferozpur … Indian time  five and half in the evening…  Whereas 5 o’clock in Pakistan … Half an hour of major time difference at a step distance… No there ua no difference at all but only watches of the both Country shows the difference and bcoz of  their standard time …When there is a retreat ceremony between the two countries, people get excited… Desh bhakti slogans chanted…let we have another blog on some other day about the retreat ceremony  … Today, it’s about sadqui post and  Sulemanki post… Why did they named it Sadki and Sulemanki …?

Sadqi Post (INDIA)

The Sadaqi post was named after the Sadaqi Canal… The lands of the princely states of Fazilka and Bahawalpur had a huge shortage of water for irrigation…To fulfill this, the first twenty of the 19th century by the Irrigation Department of the British Govt, the program of canals were started…The first digging of the Sadaqi Canal was started in the area…This work was completed in 1882.

Sulemanki post (Pakistan)

Pakistan has Sulemanki headworks…which are used for irrigation and flood control …this was built by the efforts of Nawab Amir Sadiq Mohammad Khan (V) of Bahawalpur And the project was completed between 1922-1927 by the British Government …Pakpattan Canal was built in 1925 in British Punjab on the right bank of Sulemanki Headworks … while on the left is Sadqi Canal … There are posts in both countries in the name of Sadaqi and Sulemanki … Border Security Force personnel at Sadqi Post and Pak Rangers perform Retreat Ceremony at Sulemanki Post.
